This site is here to inform the public about the different ways we can utilize the forests that have been infected and killed by the mountain pine beetle. For information on the pine beetle go to pinebeetle.ca. There is a large amount of the forest infected that can be used throughout the different projects discussed here. The mountain pine beetle is already causing a large economical problem. Hopefully through the projects the economy will be able to recover. Forestry is a large part of BC. Using the forests left behind by the pine beetle the BC forestry will hopefully recover from its depression.
